James and Michele Woodson Present . . . "Love's Gonna Get You"
New York, NY
Based on the true love story of playwrights James and Michele Woodson, “Love’s Gonna Get You” is a moving, award-winning inspirational stage play about six singles and their passionate search for true love. When soulmates Nate and Jasmine meet, fall in love, and get engaged all within two short months, their best friends – Nikki, Jessie, Pablo, and Pete – try to convince them that they're moving too fast. But when the new couple ignores their friends’ advice and move forward with their wedding plans, issues arise and their friends are forced to come to terms with their own relationship failures. Will their friends' insecurities and misconceptions about love ultimately bring the new couple down? Or will Nikki, Jessie, Pablo, and Pete gain a newfound hope in the power of love?
